A complete application to the U.S. Air Force Research Lab Summer Faculty Fellowship Program includes:
  • A completed online application form, including citizenship, demographic, contact, and employment information
  • An electronic copy of your curriculum vitae (CV) uploaded in Adobe PDF format
  • Complete contact information for three references, one of whom must be your Department Head or Dean
  • An electronic copy of your research proposal uploaded in Adobe PDF format If you are proposing including a graduate student in your research, their application must be included with your proposal.

Please note: It is suggested that you upload your proposal only after you have received approval from the advisor of the program to which you are applying.

Each of the participating Air Force research facilities and individual research advisors has specific areas of interest. SFFP applicants need to find an individual research advisor at one of the Air Force research facilities to discuss and eventually evaluate their formal research proposal. The collaboration between the Air Force research advisor and research fellow is critical to program success.
